When guests arrive at Garden Relaxing Room, the first thing to notice is the parking area. A small driveway next to the main house. Above the parking area is a 24/7 security camera that will give guests a sense of security during their stay.
After checking in, guests will immediately see the hammock area. This area has two chairs, yard games such as Connect 4 and cornhole, as well as a small cooler and a Bluetooth speaker.
Immediately after walking to the hammock area, guests will notice the pool, jacuzzi, and sun deck. For an even more relaxing experience, you can turn on the jacuzzi for thirty minutes and enjoy a good massage.

What to Know About Garden Relaxing Room
Having just opened in May of 2021, Garden Relaxing Room has become a popular place to stay among locals in Arecibo and beyond.
Edgar Rodriguez, Garden Relaxing Room’s host, started building the project in October of 2020. Combining both his knowledge of construction and plumbing, Edgar was able to make his idea come to life in less than a year.
Since opening day, and as of this writing, Garden Relaxing Room has had 60+ guests — some of them repeat guests.
Roam Puerto Rico chatted with Edgar and found out there is still a lot of work to do. With power outages becoming more common in Puerto Rico, Edgar wants to make Garden Relaxing Room 100% self-sustainable.
